Baked Eggs with
Parmesan (Uova al Forno con Parmigiano) Recipe
Ingredients

25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp unsalted (sweet) butter
-
50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup
Parmesan cheese, grated
-
4 eggs
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-
Black Olive Bread
Method:
-
Grease 4 small ramekin dishes (custard cups) with
half the butter. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese
and break an egg into each dish.
-
Add a small knob of
butter and season with the salt and pepper.
-
Place on
a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at
180°C/350°F/gas mark 4 for 10 minutes.
-
Serve
immediately with slices of Black Olive Bread.
