Ingredients

450 g/1lb French (green) beans,
cut in short lengths

Salt
-
15 ml/1 tbsp olive oil
-
60 ml/4 tbsp walnuts, chopped
-
25 g/1 oz/1/4 cup Parmesan
cheese, grated
Method:
-
Cook the beans in boiling, salted water for 8
minutes. Drain well.
-
Heat the oil in a frying pan (skillet) and fry
(sauté) the nuts for 2 minutes.
-
Add the beans and cheese and mix together. Serve
immediately.
