Ingredients

2 x 50 g/2 X 2 oz/2 small cans anchovy fillets,
drained
-
225 g/8 oz/1 1/3 cups
black olives, stoned (pitted) and finely
chopped
-
30 ml/2 tbsp capers,
drained and chopped
-
1 garlic clove, crushed
-
Freshly ground black
pepper
-
15 ml/1 tbsp tomato
puree (paste)
-
Italian Flat Bread, to serve
Method:
-
Place all the ingredients except the tomato puree in
a mortar or blender and pound to a rough paste.
-
Add
the tomato puree to form a spread able consistency.
Serve with Italian Flat Bread.
