Italian Appetizer (Antipasti) Recipes - Roast Garlic and Fennel (Aglio Arrostito con Finocchio) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 garlic bulbs

  • 2 fennel bulbs, sliced

  • 1 shallot, chopped

  • 15 ml/1 tbsp olive oil


Method:

  1. Separate the garlic bulbs and peel. Place the garlic cloves and the sliced fennel on to a large piece of foil.

  2. Add the chopped shallot and pour over the olive oil.

  3. Wrap up in a parcel and roast in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4 for 30 minutes. Serve with grilled fish or meat.
