Italian Desserts Recipes - Almond Tagliatelle (Tagliatelle alla Mandorle) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 450 g/1lb tagliatelle

  • 450 ml/2 cups double (heavy) cream, whipped lightly

  • 75 g/3 oz/1/3 cup unsalted (sweet) butter

  • 450 g/1lb/4 cups ground almonds

  • 25 g/1 oz/1/4 cup chopped almonds

  • 60 ml/4 tbsp clear honey


Method:

  1. Cook the tagliatelle in salted water for 10 minutes until tender. Drain well.

  2. Blend the cream, butter and ground almonds together and mix with the tagliatelle.

  3. Heat through. Spoon on to serving plates. Sprinkle over the chopped almonds and drizzle with the honey.
