Ingredients

4 dried figs
-
25 g/1 oz/1/4 cup ground
almonds
-
16 seedless raisins, finely
chopped
-
15 g/1/2 oz plain
(semi-sweet) chocolate, grated
-
15 ml/1 tbsp Amaretto
Method:
-
Remove the stalks from the
figs. Place a finger in the top of the fig and
push to form a pocket.

Blend the almonds, chopped
raisins, chocolate and liqueur together.
-
Fill each fig with the
mixture and squeeze the tops together to seal.
-
Place the figs in a baking
tin (pan), open ends upwards and bake for 8
minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F/gas
mark
