Tuna Fish with Almonds (Tonno con Mandorle) Recipe
Ingredients

4 tuna steaks
-
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper
-
15 ml/1 tbsp olive oil
-
50 g/2 oz/1 small
can anchovy fillets, drained
-
15 ml/1 tbsp
oregano, chopped
-
50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup flaked (slivered) almonds
Method:
-
Place the tuna in
a greased, shallow, flameproof dish and season
with salt and pepper.
-
Pour over the oil and
arrange the anchovies on top. Sprinkle over the
oregano and almonds and cover with foil.
-
Bake in
a preheated oven at 190°C/375°F/gas mark
5 for 25 minutes.
