Italian Meat - Poultry and Game Recipes - Grilled Chicken Thighs (Coscette di Pollo alla Griglia) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 skinless chicken thighs

  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 5 ml/1 tsp chili powder

  • 60 ml/4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 45 ml/3 tbsp olive oil

  • 45 ml/3 tbsp tomato puree (paste)

  • Lime slices, to garnish


Method:

  1. Make two shallow slits horizontally across the surface of the thighs.

  2. Blend the remaining ingredients together and pour over the chicken. Leave to marinate for at least 2 hours, turning over occasionally.

  3. Grill (broil) under a moderate grill (broiler) for 15 minutes, turning frequently to avoid burning. Serve garnished with slices of lime.
