Italian Meat - Pork, Ham and Sausage Recipes - Pork Chops with Apples (Cotoletta di Maiale con Mele) Recipe

Ingredients

• 15 ml/1 tbsp olive oil

• 4 pork chops

• 90 ml/6 tbsp white wine

• 5 ml/1 tsp mustard

• Salt and freshly ground black pepper

• 2 large eating (dessert) apples

• 5 ml/1 tsp lemon juice

Method:

1. Heat the oil in a frying pan and brown the chops for 3 minutes on each side.

2. Add the wine and mustard and season with the salt and pepper.

3. Peel, core and slice the apples and soak the rings in the lemon juice.

4. Add the apple rings to the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes.
