Italian Pasta Recipes - Aromatic Angel Hair (Capellini Aromatici) Recipe

Ingredients                 

• 225 g/8 oz capellini

• 200 ml/scant 1 cup olive oil

• 4 garlic cloves, chopped

• 25 ml/2 tbsp grated fresh root ginger

• 8 basil leaves, torn

• Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Method:

1. Cook the pasta. Drain. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden.

2. Pile the pasta on warm plates and drizzle over the fragrant oil. Sprinkle over the basil and lots of Parmesan cheese.
