Fettuccine with
Sage (Fettuccine con Salvia) Recipe
Ingredients

15 g/1 tbsp
unsalted (sweet) butter
-
1 onion, chopped
-
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper

350 g/12 oz fettuccine
-
45 ml/3 tbsp chopped
fresh sage
-
50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup
Pecorino cheese, grated
Method:
-
Heat the butter and cook the onion for 5 minutes until soft.

Bring a
large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the
fettuccine for 8 minutes. Drain and return to the
saucepan.

Pour over the butter and onion and stir in
the sage. Spoon into a heated serving dish and
sprinkle over the Pecorino cheese.
