Pasta Bows with
Red Pepper Sauce (Farfalle con Salsa di Peperoni Rosso) Recipe
Ingredients
-
15 ml/1 tbsp oil
-
1 onion, cut into
chunks
-
1 carrot, chopped
-
2 red (bell)
peppers, chopped
-
1 celery stick,
chopped
-
400 g/14 oz/1large
can of chopped tomatoes
-
5 ml/1 tsp chopped
fresh marjoram
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-
350 g/12 oz pasta bows
Method:
-
Heat the oil and cook the onion, carrot, peppers and
celery for 5 minutes until soft.

Add the tomatoes,
marjoram and seasoning and cook slowly for 15
minutes.

Bring a large pan of salted water to the
boil and cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes.
-
Drain and
return to the saucepan. Pour over the sauce, toss
and serve immediately.
