Penne with Crab
(Penne con Grancho) Recipe
Ingredients
-
225 g/8 oz
crabmeat, flaked
-
10 ml/2 tsp olive
oil
-
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp salt
-
450 g/1lb fresh
penne
-
25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp
unsalted (sweet) butter
-
10 ml/2 tsp chopped fresh
sage
-
5 ml/1 tsp freshly
ground black pepper
Method:
-
Check the crabmeat to ensure there is no remaining shell. Put the oil and
salt in boiling water and add the fresh penne.

Boil
for 3-4 minutes until the pasta is firm but cooked. Drain and
return to the hot pan.

Add the butter, sage,
crabmeat and pepper. Toss well until piping hot and
serve immediately.
