Potatoes and
Noodles with Garlic Sauce (Patate e Tagliatelle con
Salsa all' Aglio) Recipe
Ingredients

450 g/1lb small new
potatoes
-
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper
-
350 g/12 oz tagliatelle
-
250 ml/8 fl oz/1
cup Creamy Garlic Sauce
-
A few sprigs of
basil, torn into small pieces
-
50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup
Pecorino cheese, grated
Method:

Boil the potatoes in their skins for 10-15 minutes until tender. Drain,
cool and cut thickly into rounds.

Bring 600 ml/2 1/2 cups salted water to the boil. Cook the tagliatelle rapidly for 8 minutes. Drain and mix
with the sliced potatoes.

Heat the Creamy Garlic
Sauce and pour over the potatoes and noodles.
-
Sprinkle with the basil and grated cheese and serve
immediately.
