Italian Pasta Recipes - Tagliatelle with Cheese and Broccoli (Tagliatelle con Dolcelatte e Broccolo) Recipe

Ingredients                 

  • 225 g/8 oz broccoli, cut in small florets

  • 350 g/12 oz tagliatelle

  • 60 ml/4 tbsp Mascarpone cheese

  • 100 g/4 oz Dolcelatte cheese, cubed

  • 2.5 ml/1/2 tsp grated nutmeg

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • 50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup walnuts, chopped


Method:

  1. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the broccoli for 4 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. Bring the pasta to the boil a large pan of salted water and cook for 8-10 minutes until tender. Drain and return to the pan.

  3. Gently mix in the Mascarpone, Dolcelatte and nutmeg and toss well. Add the broccoli, seasoning and chopped nuts and transfer to an ovenproof dish.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C/400°F/gas mark 6 for 10 minutes.
