Mozzarella Pizza (Pizza di Salame e Monzzarella) Recipe
Ingredients

15 ml/1 tbsp olive
oil
-
10 ml/2 tsp
semolina (cream of wheat)
-
1 onion, thinly
sliced
-
1 quantity Basic
Pizza Dough
-
25 g/1 oz salami,
finely diced
-
50 g/1/2 cup
Mozzarella cheese, grated
Method:
-
Prepare the pizza base. Oil a large pizza tin (pan) and sprinkle with the
semolina.
-
Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan
(skillet) and add the onion. Cook over a high heat
for 2 minutes until the onion is soft.
-
Roll out the
dough into a 25 cm/10 in round and place on the pizza
tin. Cover with the onion.
-
Sprinkle with the salami
and top with the grated Mozzarella cheese.

Bake for
10-15 minutes in a preheated oven at 230°C/450°F/gas mark
