Eggs Baked with Gorgonzola (Uova al Forno con
Gorgonzola)

Ingredients

5 ml/1 tsp unsalted
(sweet) butter

4 eggs
-
50 g/2 oz
Gorgonzola, crumbled

2.5 ml/1/2 tsp freshly
ground black pepper
-
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp grated nutmeg

50 g/2 oz/1 cup
fresh breadcrumbs
Method:
-
Butter a pie dish. Break the eggs into the dish.

Mix
the Gorgonzola with the pepper, nutmeg and
breadcrumbs and spoon over the eggs.

Bake in a
preheated oven at 200°C/400°F/gas mark 6 for 8
minutes until the eggs are just set and the
breadcrumbs are golden.
